The FieldFact project

The FieldFact project examines the opportunities of GNSS use in agriculture. The current state of GNSS applications in agriculture was examined and priority applications were identified. The project performed an extensive promotion and training campaign on the use of GNSS applications and the opportunities of the European GNSS (EGNOS and Galileo) in agriculture. This campaign was supported by the development and testing of the identified priority applications for GNSS use in the Agricultural User Community as demonstrators of GNSS applications. Major input and feedback was provided in the course of the project through the FieldFact Advisory Stakeholder Council, through various stakeholder meetings that were organised in the frame of the project and through an extensive study of GNSS use in agriculture.

The figure states the project structure of the FieldFact project and the project logic.

The document section on this page provides the major project deliverables of the project. The Critical Analysis report describes the results of the Critical Analysis Phase and documents the assessments on the state of GNSS use in agriculture and the determination of the priority applications for the agricultural sector. The Final Activity report summarizes the activities perfromed in the project and the project results. The Results Analysis report describes the results of the FieldFact project related to the stated short (project) and medium and long term (post-project) objectives.

All other public FieldFact deliverables can be found on the document sections of the topics pages. The topics pages can be found under the menu item Research.
