Stakeholder Platform

One of the main concepts of the FieldFact project is the participatory approach that was used to involve stakeholders. Through the participation of the relevant key stakeholder groups in the project, a base is created to implement the requirements and recommendations of European stakeholders regarding GNSS use in agriculture into the projects objectives and activities.

In order to implement this approach first of all an assessment was of the agrultural community in Europe ni order to determine the relevant stakeholders in the area of GNSS use in agriculture. From that starting point a series of local stakeholder meetings were organized throughout Europe.  A Stakeholder Advisory Council was founded that included representatives from all relevant stakeholder groups. This stakeholder group was closely involved in the projects activities and in determining the directions of the project in order to serve as much as possible the interests of the stakeholders.
